Lover Of My Soul

Man, what a weekend! I met my best friend, and was introduced to my soul mate (it was Valentines you know) all within 24 hours, it doesn't get much better than that does it?

So let me start out by telling you about my best friend:
He is everything anyone could ever want in a friend. He is a ton of fun to hang out with, I can talk to him about anything and he won't tell a soul, he would do anything for me, even die. And you wanna talk about a sense of humor? Oh man, he is just the greatest.

But enough about my best friend, I want to tell you about my soul mate!
He is so wonderfully amazing, it's hard to describe.....but I will try my best! You know how when you see that "special someone" your heart skips a beat and you get those silly little butterflies in your stomach? Well when I talk to him I get those feelings, only 1,000 times stronger than I ever thought possible. I feel like my heart is going to leap right out of my chest when I think about him. When I talk (or write) about him my stomach does flips, because I can't get enough of his love! I just want to run and dance through the streets singing about him (and I don't sing). And you want to talk about beautiful? Man oh man I have never seen a more perfect creature (I know, I am a lucky girl!). When he says my name, my heart melts and I just know how much he loves me. I feel like we are always together, even when we're not talking I feel him near me. I never want to leave his side and even if I do get angry with him (for no reason) and walk away, when I turn around he is still right there holding out his hand for me. And when he says he loves me more, I don't even try to argue because I know he is right and I could never measure up to his love and he is ok with that. But do you know what the best part is? My best friend and my soul mate are the same person! So I have to best of both worlds.

So who is my best friend/soul mate? Well if you haven't already guessed, it's Jesus. This weekend at Ski Invasion I got a whole new dose of His love and it is the greatest feeling EVER! I just want to run around telling everyone that I found the love of my life and He has been waiting on me for my entire life. He is my best friend, my strong tower, my rock, my shelter, my comforter, my redeemer, my savior, THE LOVER OF MY SOUL!
